Subscriptions that renew themselves

Sell plans, seats or usage to your customers. Cynco renews each subscription, tries a declined card again on a schedule, and turns every charge into a proper invoice in your books.

  • Subscriptions and trials
  • Charge by usage
  • Upgrades charged pro rata
  • Self-serve customer portal
  • Charge a saved card, or send an invoice with terms
  • Weekly to yearly, per seat or on tiers
  • Trials that start without a card

Usage

Charge for what customers actually use

Give customers an allowance and charge for the rest, on graduated or volume tiers. Cynco counts the usage and draws down the balance in one go, and the same usage reported twice is only counted once.

  • On/off, metered or credit-based features
  • Included, prepaid or usage-based billing

Self-serve

Customers manage their own billing

Send a customer a link to their own billing portal. They can see their subscriptions, choose which saved card to charge, remove a card or cancel, without having to email you.

  • Portal links expire after an hour
  • Upgrades charged for the time left, downgrades from the next period

The details

Statuses
Checkout, trialing, active, past due, paused, canceled and expired. Every change is checked against the moves allowed from where it stands.
Retries
If a renewal is declined, Cynco tries again after 1, 3, 5 and 7 days by default, and emails when it fails and when the retries run out.
Saved cards
Charged automatically through CHIP or Stripe.
In your books
Each charge becomes a finalised Cynco invoice, recorded as a sale and as money you're owed. A refund becomes a credit note.
Agreements
Sign an agreement and Cynco drafts its billing schedule, recurring or by milestone.
Going live
Build in test mode on any plan. Live mode needs Pro.
